CAD Founder Scott Berry worked as an electrical engineer for Xerox and Tectronics before applying his engineering expertise to his true love: audio. In 2011, Computer Audio Design launched its pioneer product, the 1543 Digital Analog Convertor, a project Barry had been working on for over a decade. Since then, CAD has continued to stay ahead of the curve in computer audio innovation.

Today, high-quality audio-based computer streaming is synonymous with CAD. From that original 1543 DAC, CAD has grown its product line to include the CAD Audio Transport, the phenomenal CAD Ground Controls, and dozens of other products that reduce high-frequency noise in audio output. CAD’s goal? To make digital music come across as a really good analog sound. So far, CAD is the world leader in this worthy mission.
